Working for the summer Outreach Program at the Cooper Union, I was responsible for design and layout of a 100+page book of student work (left) as well as invitations for the two shows at the end of the program (above).

(Above and left) Some more examples of invitations I have designed.

Above and below are two cd covers for which I have provided art work, the design and typography layouts were not done by me.
experimental typography theater identity, play poster, play book
This project was done in Nico Schweizer's experimental typography class in the spring of 2002. I had to pick or create a theater house and design an identity for it as well as a play poster for a specific play and a book for the pay that would have information on it or would contain the text of the play. This project took almost a full semester.

  posters with photographs of type
During the experimental typo class we had to be taking photographs of typography around town, about 1 roll per two weeks. The last project in this class was to make a poster with someone in the class using both the sets of photographs. I worked with Oscar H. and we made a poster promoting our show in some famous museum (the event was of course fake). I do not have the copy of our collaboration poster here, but I have provided some collages I made with both our photos.

graphic designII "eureka" book
The assignment was to create a book using the type faces on certain times of the past in a chronological order. The subject was not given, I chose to do inventions. Each spread is devoted to an invention, there is a brief description of the invention in the type face which suits the time the invention was crated. This project took almost 4 months, it was done in Janet Odgis's graphic design II class in the spring of 2002. I feel that the worst thing about this project is my research (this is why you will find that the paragraphs are not really legible, I did not want you to be able to read them in the online version). The book’s construction looks better in real life then scanned, also the contrast adjustment added to the warped look of the pages.
